Sudan Anti-Corruption Recourse Center
The Sudan Anticorruption Resource Center (SARC) is a platform dedicated to supporting and strengthening anti-corruption reform efforts in Sudan. After the December glorious revolution that overthrew a 30 years of dictatorship, SARC was established in 2020 by the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). It was established in response to the pressing need for accessible, credible, and locally relevant resources. SARC serves as a knowledge hub and engagement space for individuals and institutions working to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance in Sudan.
The rationale behind the establishment of SARC stems from the growing demand for coordinated and informed anti-corruption strategies in Sudan, especially in the context of political transition and institutional reform. Recognizing the challenges of fragmented efforts and limited access to practical tools and information, SARC was designed to centralize resources, foster dialogue, and build capacity across sectors.
