COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course provides a comprehensive overview of corruption, from its fundamental definition to its wide-ranging impacts on individuals, institutions, and society as a whole. The course will delve into the root causes of corruption, such as weak rule of law and a lack of accountability, and discuss its significant social and economic costs. Additionally, we’ll analyze specific historical, cultural, and social factors that contribute to corruption in Sudan, providing a contextualized understanding of the issue.
